Leading business travel agency located in the city of London is looking for a new business sales consultant to assist the business development team with developing new clients.
The responsibilities of the new business sales consultant will be to target clients and sell them the benefits of using a travel management company, this will include liaising with the business development director to establish vertical markets that you will be contacting. You will use your flair for sales to speak with the appropriate decision maker. You will also read up and assume a strategy before contacting clients so you have good knowledge of their product. You will organise yourself to diary contacts in order to build upon the initial pitch and be responsible for sending marketing documentation when applicable.
The successful sales consultant will have previous experience of working for a business travel organisation / TMC in a business development role. You will be experienced in making outbound calls, pitching to clients and building rapport with clients. You will be self motivated, able to communicate well both verbally and written and keen to achieve and exceed sales targets.
